Sweet Pilgrim Cemetery
George County, Mississippi

Contributed by Jimmy Trussell

Heading west on highway 26 out of Benndale, Mississippi You will go a couple of miles , there you will cross a small bridge. When you cross the bridge there will be a sign on your left for Sweet Pilgrim Cemetery. There is a small woods road by the sign and the cemetery is at the dead end of this small un-named road. The cemetery is surrounded by a fence, and there were several unmarked graves. The cemetery belongs to Sweet Pilgrim Church and they provide maintenance and upkeep for it. The cemetery was walked by Jimmy Trussell on the 7th of December, 2007. Information was taken from all legible temporary grave markers and tombstone inscriptions.
